Updated Information regarding reserving park pavilions and athletic fields - 4/19/21
Pavilion rentals are now open. Please go to vestalny.myrec.com to make a reservation.
Individuals reserving a pavilion will be required to sign a release of liability regarding COVID-19 and acknowledging responsibility for enforcing NYS regulations.
LEAGUES & FIELDS
Leagues may reserve the fields so long as they comply with all Town requirements (ie. insurance). The entity who reserves the field will be responsible for enforcing NYS regulations related to COVID-19.
Arnold Park - Andrews Rd.
Four rentable (suspended until further notice) picnic shelters by the day (see Arnold Park Picnic Reservations in the menu to the left), tables, grills, playground equipment, ball field with lights, football field, softball fields, rest room facilities, running water, electric, hiking, sand volleyball court, ice skating and cross country skiing (in winter), fitness trail, and parking.
African Road Park - African Road

Barlow Park - Main Street

Ethel Place Park - Ethel Place

Fuller Hollow Park - Marietta Drive

Harold Moore Park - Old Vestal Road
Picnic shelter, tables, playground equipment, softball fields, two full court basketball courts, rest rooms, running water, soccer fields, electric, river access, boat ramp, parking.
Jones Park - State Line Road
Nature trail, stream, hiking, cross country skiing, parking. Dogs allowed on leash. Trail map available, see link below.
Memorial Park - Four Corners - Rte. 434 (Vestal Pkwy.) & Front St.
Band Gazebo, electric, park benches, and free summer band concerts on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM July and August. See Music. On street parking only.
Middendorf Park - Juneberry Road

Richards Ave. Park - Richards Avenue

Ross Corners Park - Old Owego Road
Tennis courts, soccer field, running water, parking.
Stair Park - Murray Hill Road

Stratford Park - Stratford Drive

Twin Orchards Park - Myrtle Street

Vestal Center Park - Coleman Street

Vestal Memorial Pool - Clayton Avenue - CLOSED for SUMMER 2021 due to repairs.
Large outdoor pool & wading pool, rest rooms & changing area, electric, running water, parking, open Noon - 8:00 PM daily, except a few weekdays in the beginning of the season (open 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM), due to school still being in session. Willow Point Park - Gates Road

Vestal Rail Trail (both trails equal total of 3.55 miles)
The trails 2.1 mile section runs between North Main Street and African Road and is located just north of and parallel to the Vestal Parkway (Rte. 434). The trail has a twelve foot paved path and eight feet of grass on either side of the trail. Parking at Stage Road and on the east side of the Shoppes at Vestal. The trail has benches. Bathrooms at both ends of the trail. The new section runs from the western end of the existing trail on North Main St. and proceeds west, 1.45 miles to Castle Gardens Rd., paralleling Route 17. Parking at vacant lot on Castle Gardens Rd. Dogs on a leash are allowed on trail but you must bring your own bag for waste.

The Town of Vestal Recreation Dept. has a hiking trail guide on nine sites in Vestal. Volunteers in the community prepared the guide.
